Return and Refund policy

At House of Inspired, we strive to provide you with high-quality products and excellent customer service. We understand that there may be instances where you need to return an item. We work with multiple suppliers to source the best products for you. However, sometimes issues may arise with your purchase. To help us provide feedback to our suppliers and third-party printers, please follow our return policy carefully.

Below is our 7-day return policy to ensure a smooth and fair process for everyone involved. Please, read thoroughly from beginning to end.

Your choice to browse, shop and make a purchase on www.houseofinspired.com signifies complete consent to any and all terms and conditions, including but not limited to this refund policy in its entirety. 

1. Return Eligibility:

  • Items must be returned within 7 days of the delivery date.
  • Items must be in their original condition, unused, unaltered, unwashed, and with all tags and packaging intact.
  • To facilitate this process, we require photo or video evidence of the issue, as well as the packaging that the items were shipped in.
  • Certain items may not be eligible for refund. Please, refer below to section titled "Exceptions/non-returnable items" for more information.

2. Return Process:

  • To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at support@houseofinspired.com with your order number, reason for return, and video/photo to showcase evidence of the issue.
  • Upon approval, you will receive a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and detailed instructions on how to return your item.
  • Returns without an RAN will not be accepted.

3. Shipping Costs:

  • You, the customer, are responsible for paying for the return shipping costs. Please note, shipping costs are non-refundable. If your refund is approved, the original cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance for any item. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
  • Please note, House of Inspired is not responsible for addresses that are input incorrectly. Please ensure you check all information before submitted your order.

4. Refunds:

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email notification regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If approved, your refund will be processed and emailed as a STORE CREDIT ONLY.
  • Please note that original shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • A restocking fee of 25% of the original purchase price will be deducted from your refund for all returned items, except for print on demand and art items, which are not eligible for return.
  • This fee helps cover the costs of the return process including but not limited to inspecting, repackaging, and restocking the returned items.
  • If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at support@houseofinspired.com.

5. Exchanges:

  • We do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different item, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order.

6. Damaged or Defective Items:

  • If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us at support@houseofinspired.com within 7 days of delivery with photos and a description of the issue.
  • We will arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.
  • For Direct-to-garment printing (DTG), there is a tolerance of 0.5" for print placement, meaning that minor variations in the placement of the print will not be considered as defects.

7. Exceptions/non-returnable items:

  • Items marked as "Final Sale" cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). Also, any and all art-inspired prints and print-on-demand items such as printed items by artists, towels, printed t-shirts, mugs, artwork, journals, and all others cannot be returned. We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
  • No returns on gift cards
  • Please note that all items may have slight variations from the pictures shown due to factors such as the production process, as well as computer settings, phone settings, tablet settings, and other display variations. House of Inspired is not liable for these differences, and returns will not be accepted for such reasons.

European Union 14 day cooling off period

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
